It all starts with a simple idea: to make the child feel play as something physical again. social and real . From there, our story is a constant evolution: product, technology, community and education.

Our story (with facts)

This story isn't about "making spinning tops." It's about how a traditional game becomes a modern experience. with design, innovation and a clear objective: to make playing active again, shared and with real progress .

  1. 2005

    The origin: street, childhood and real play

    Javier Caballero revives the spinning top as a universal childhood game and begins to manufacture wooden spinning tops. in a handcrafted way. The initial intention was clear: for the children to have fun outdoors again, with a physical, shared, and screen-free play.

  2. 2006–2007

    Differentiation: design that invites play

    As demand grows, the need to stand out arises. Spinning tops evolve with it. vibrant colors and textures . They become a must-have in school playgrounds and, over time, pieces prized by collectors. This is where the foundations of the Trompos Space universe are built.

  3. 2008
    Trompos Space is born

    The leap into acrobatic spinning arrives. The collaboration with Gerardo Montero , international champion, sets the course: The game becomes about progression, technique, and a culture of challenge.

    Saturn: innovation in difficult times

    In the midst of the economic crisis, the flagship Saturno model was born. Designed and manufactured entirely in Spain. With tens of thousands of units sold, it consolidates Trompos Space as a benchmark in quality toys.

  4. 2009

    Bearing and swivel tip: control and new tricks

    Trompos Space patents the bearing in a spinning top and roller spinning tops are born. The rotating tip opens up a world: more control, more precision, and tricks that were previously impossible with a fixed tip.

  5. + R&D

    Giraboli: a brand signature

    A unique feature appears: a small hole in the lid that allows the giraboli , one of the brand's most recognizable tricks.

  6. 2011+

    Professional models: when play becomes discipline

    Saturn is followed by spinning tops like Jupiter and the famous Neptune (metal), along with models valued as Pegasus and Saturn Xtrem . The catalog evolves for players of all ages.

As the product evolves, so does what's behind it. For us, quality isn't just a claim: It's assembly , control , and detail . That's why the next chapter is inevitable: actual production.

Between 2010 and 2015 we focused heavily on schools: live talks, with participation and tricks. The goal was simple (and still is): for the child to move, socialize, and challenge themselves. and leave with a real feeling of "I can".

The second generation joined in 2015. Since then, a dedicated team has been working with a clear vision: To offer a quality spinning top, manufactured in Spain, innovative and modern, without losing the essence of the traditional game. And with one goal that doesn't change: less screen time , more real gameplay.
